I feel like a fish
I realise that being the daughter of a non-Orange telephone company employee that I'm saying I'm liking the rival's TV ad but I love this Orange ad.

I feel like that isolated fish in the bowl. Only, instead of it raining, there's been a drought for a long time. I'm stuck in that little bowl all alone with the water evapourating and I'm suffocating.

I'm sitting here hoping it rains soon so I can feel free again and so I can swim out and stretch.

Please let it rain.

Most of us who get stuck in some provincial situat... Most of us who get stuck in some provincial situation - either trapped by circumstance in an isolated backwater home, or lacking in inspiration, or whatever - can sympathise with what you say there.
Though perhaps, in these kinda situations, we need to be like the lungfish - that can tunnel into the mud and live it out in very hostile conditions, or like the mudskipper - that can roam freely and happily without immersion.
