Good Friday

Nothing shall separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus." He's forsaken so that we might be forgiven. ... Nothing in all creation is more steeped in the miraculous than the fact of your forgiveness and mine. In the last twenty-four hours alone, I have sinned more than enough to be justly judged by God. But instead of condemning me, He forgives me. And that forgiveness is derived only from that One suspended between heaven and earth in utter abandonment from God."

It's Friday. It ends in heartbreak and desperation. But we do not worship a dead God – Sunday’s coming…
