Highfields Vision 2011

Today was Vision Sunday in Highfields. I missed the evening service - I'm now getting headaches regularly in the evening. Stress? Not sure but it's probably a contender! The sermon this morning was great and I'll probably plug in to the evening one online at some point but on this page you'll find the seven-minute video outlining the vision for the church for the next year.

I know I've said it before but, even with its problems, I have been very blessed to call Highfields home for these four years in Cardiff and I'm excited about what God is doing in and through the congregation there.

I had a lovely Sunday - I've had a busy week where I felt like I've lived in my little lab on the ninth floor of the psych building (Monday: 9-6, Tuesday 9-5, Wednesday 9-5...) but my data looks like it could be interesting but I'll be in there most of tomorrow entering lots and lots and lots of code to pull off the data for each of the 28 participants for each of the 18 or so tasks... I think there will be a lot of music listening to get me through the pain of data and statistics. So, a new week. I've five left before Easter, four before the deadline of all deadlines and much much much to do each day. But it was so good to take today off!

The verse I'm clinging to is

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.

(Hebrews 10:23 ESV)

Amazing. God is good.

About Me

My Photo
I'm a Northern Irish girl in the fourth and final year of studying psychology in Cardiff (Wales) who has had many adventures in the Czech Republic and I'm excited about where God seems to be leading! The main thing about me is that I love and follow Jesus and I'm on the long road of learning how that should affect all the other things. Welcome to my little corner of the internet. There are much more exciting places to be but you're welcome to stick around.
