It was great to meet the american basketball guys - janice's irish stew mayb stuck to their ribs a bit but I guess they burned it all off during all that physical stuff. The Anchor boys' did us all proud on Fri nite and we really appreciate all the time and effort you young girls give to help out - especially when you're all so busy with school, sport, gb and not forgetting messin up Paul's office...wot next I wonder! When I woke on Sat moring I felt like I'd been hit by a bus, uc I'm old now. Must admit the thought of an afternoon bag packin at Sprucefield really didn't float my boat - but we had a fantastic response and raised almost 900quid for the B.B. so hopefully the gold duke of ed guys will remember how hard we had to slog for them when they'll be strolling up Mont Blanc this summer. I think Paul B is going out with the lads on a few practice walks - would he b fit enough for the Mont Blanc challenge?Alinoreply@blogger.com
